Belvedere roof repairs

Steps are under way to procure funds for repairs to the roof of Belvedere House, councillors learned at the November meeting of the Mullingar Kinnegad Municipal District.

The subject was raised by Cllr Hazel Smyth, who asked for an update. The official response to Cllr Smyth’s query stated that works were carried out using the 2020 July Jobs Provision grant. The response went on to state that a grant application for works to the roof in 2022 is being prepared and will be submitted. “Match funding will be required if successful,” it concluded.
