Mullingar Christmas market cancelled for 2021
Mullingar Chamber have had to announce the cancellation of the Mullingar Christmas market for 2021.
The market planned for Mount Street from Thursday December 2 to Sunday December 5.
In a statement today, Mullingar Chamber expressed disappointment, and said: “The WinterFest team have worked extensively with the support of Westmeath County Council and the Mount Street retailers to try to hold the market this year – however, with the continuing uncertainty around Covid-19 and the community transmission rates at present, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this event in the interest of public safety.”
