Westmeath learn opponents in Leinster Football Championship

Westmeath have drawn near neighbours Longford in the quarter-finals of the 2022 Leinster Senior Football Championship.

Jack Cooney’s men received a bye in the opening round.

Quarter-Finals:

4. Dublin v Offaly / Wexford

5. Meath v Laois / Wicklow

6. Kildare v Louth / Carlow

7. Westmeath v Longford

In hurling, Westmeath are in a six-team group in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.

The Lake County side has received three home matches and two away.

The campaign opens on the weekend of April 16/17 with a home game against Kilkenny, with a trip to Galway on the following weekend .

On the weekend of April 30/May 1, the hurlers are in TEG Cusack Park, welcoming Dublin, followed on May 14/15 with another home game to Wexford before the group stage concludes with a trip to Portlaoise to take on Laois on the weekend of May 21/22.
