Wilson’s students mark #thinklanguages day
Transition year students at Wilson’s Hospital School celebrated #thinklanguages day with workshops in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Polish, Italian and Portuguese.
Students learned how to master German Linzerschnitte, Spanish tapas and French cuisine, practised their interpreting skills and finished the day with some great poster design. A special thanks to the Jammy Rogers Bakery for sponsoring delicious pastries in Granard (a great treat) and to the Think Languages team for so many freebies throughout the day.
Thanks also to head chef Lucasz, who featured international food in the canteen at lunch time. The Champion Team of Oisin Harrington, Maria Gavrilenko, Anna Gillespie, Robyn Wright, Niamh Grier, Isabel Fleeson Weller, Sarah Cawley, Lauren Power, and Joel Gillanders helped Mr Burke throughout the day.
