The pallets carried supplies of surgical masks, antiseptic wipes and gel, stationery items for schools and sports gear and equipment for children.

Donal Lawlor, president of Mullingar Rotary Club, says he is confident that it will have an impact and help in some small way to alleviate the desperate state of affairs in Lebanon between the ongoing conflicts, refugee crisis, economic and political crisis, and the pandemic crisis.
