Kayaking around and raising funds for LARCC

Lakeland Kayaks (lakelandkayaks.ie), based in Lough Sheever Corporate Park, Mullingar,generously reached out to LARCC in late September to offer two Atlas 2.0 Skipjak Kayaks to give away, and so an online raffle was launched in October on social media.

Throughout October and November, the raffle was well supported and by the time it closed in early December, €2,100 had been raised for LARCC.

The winners we randomly picked the week after December 5th and two local winners were announced, Iris O’Donnell and John McKenna.

LARCC wishes to thank Ray and Claire and all in Lakeland Kayaks for their enormous generosity in donating the Kayaks.

The charity wishes to thank everyone who supported the raffle – LARCC will use the €2,100 which to continue its vital work in community based professional cancer support services.

The winners are delighted with their kayaks and are looking forward to a spring and summer on the water.
