Railway Market gearing up to open this Saturday

The Railway Market is gearing up to open its gates on Saturday February 19 next, 11am to 3pm, at the central location of the Bandhall in Mullingar Business Park, (Zone A) N91YY96, just beside the railway tunnel at Blackhall. (It can be accessed from the junction at Expert Electrical.)

Aisling Coleman, office manager at Mullingar Chamber, will be there on the day to ‘cut the ribbon’! Thank you to Aisling for her support and guidance to The Railway Market.

The Railway Market is a general market and the organisers are delighted to have attracted such interest from a huge variety of stall holders and customers to date. The following stalls are some of those lined up for the first market next Saturday;

Maggie Bakes, muffins/ loaves/ mini loaves/cookies; Killucan Honey, wild flower/ heather honey/bees wax products; A Little Bird Told Me, Truck-coffee/tea/hot chocolate/baked goods; natural aloe vera productsl Petals and Potions, handmade soaps; CrumbCruach, vegetarian burgers/ loaded fries/ baps with eclectic toppings; Daru Fragrances, hand poured soya wax candles and wax melts; Brendan Moran, framed and unframed artwork; Starcrest Seafoods; The Flowersmyth, flower bouquets/bunches/arrangements; Michael Kenny, crepes/ soft drinks/ hot chocolate; Dolores Keaveney, children’s books/ miniature pictures/ hangings/bags/scarves; Sophie Freeman, eco friendly and palm free bath and body products; Trish’s Bric a Brac; Ali’s Kitchen, cupcakes/traybakes; Grove Café Mullingar, freshly baked breads.

Stalls will be both indoor and outdoor in a space that is attractive, clean and enclosed, and there will be plenty to choose from, and gifts for all occasions such as birthdays, St Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter. Patrons can also enjoy lunch while they browse and shop on the day.

There is plenty of parking throughout Mullingar Business Park – unfortunately, there will be no access to the Bandhall for parking with the exception of one disability parking space.

Market operator Patricia Magee is delighted with the interest and response to setting up this market; as she said, “after all, Mullingar is a Market town!”.
