Huge interest in environmental art competition at St Colman's

There was a large number of entries in a recent environmental art competition in St Colman's National School.

Pupils from junior infants up to sixth class were invited to create a piece of art that promoted environmental awareness. The competition, which was sponsored by local firm Trend Technologies, created a lot of excitement among students who submitted a large number of entries that not only promoted environmental awareness but also showcased their very impressive artistic skills.

Teacher Hazel O'Dowd thanked Trend for sponsoring the competition and praised the students for participating in such large numbers.
