The Men’s Division 4 team: William Kavanagh, David Clooney, Peter Kelly and Jean-Marc Roland.

Busy weekend for Mullingar teams

It was a busy weekend for Mullingar teams who were playing against Kells, Carlingford and Navan.

Our ladies’ first team were playing against Kells away. They had a good win, defeating Kells by three matches to one. The team members were Angela Guilfoyle, Mandy Kerroum, Emer Meisonnave, and Lisa Duffy.

Our ladies’ third team were at home to Carlingford, where they had a very close encounter with matches being very tight. It could easily have been a draw, but unfortunately they lost a tie break for the result to be 3-1 to Carlingford. Team members were Angela Wall, Róisín Smyth, Ariuna Elamin and Mary Morris.

Also our Division 4 men’s team played Navan in Mullingar and won 4-0. Jean-Marc Roland, playing with David Clooney, had a tight match winning in the tie-break and David Clooney partnered with Peter Kelly has had a close match winning 6-4, 7-5. The other two matches were won quite easily. Well done to all players and good luck for next round.
