North Westmeath Hospice launch this year's Sunflower Days

The North Westmeath Hospice are delighted to bring Hospice Sunflower Days back to the streets this year. We will have some wonderful Sunflower merchandise available throughout many locations in Mullingar including our main stand in the Market Square.

As one of Ireland’s longest established charity fundraisers, Hospice Sunflower Days is celebrating its 32nd year and garden designer Diarmuid Gavin is the national ambassador.

The North Westmeath Hospice fundraising committee launched this year’s campaign and welcomed back Tina Kellegher, of Fair City fame, as their local ambassador.

They are looking forward to returning to the streets on Friday and Saturday June 10 and 11 and asking for people to come out and support the cause.

Chairperson of the fundraising Committee, Margaret Claffey, said: “I would like to remind everyone that all monies raised at this event stays local to support our palliative Hospice Homecare Services.”

Coffee morning at Peter Burke's office

Peter Burke, TD, is hosting a coffee morning and raffle in support of North Westmeath Hospice CLG Mullingar on Friday May 13 (10am-noon) at his constituency office in Blackhall.
