More details revealed on film studio campus for Mullingar
Hammerlake Studios have revealed more details of the film studio campus they are planning to build in Mullingar.
The application is expected to be lodged shortly. The site is at Lough Sheever Corporate Park.
It will incorporate an international base for administration and office space of 10,388 square metres, a four- or five-storey building; four film/TV sound studios in two blocks of 5,330 square metres and 5,068 square metres; a workshop building for set and prop construction (5,142 square metres); an ESB substation of 38 square metres, a security office and a barrier controlled entry system.
The application is also for 278 car parking spaces, 11 articulated truck spaces, seven motorhome spaces and storage for 50 bicycles.
