Westmeath Support Service Against Domestic Abuse invite you to their table quiz

The Westmeath Support Service Against Domestic Abuse (WSSADA) are holding a fundraising table quiz in Smiddy’s Bar on May 26 and they would like the support of the public.

It will be their first fundraising event since the onset of Covid-19 and the money raised on the night will supplement the cost of overheads and supplies and safeguard the delivery of their service.

WSSADA provide support and advocacy for women who have or are experiencing domestic abuse.

In their 20-plus-year history, WSSADA have supported more than 5000 women and their families to overcome violence and abuse by an intimate partner and lead the lives of their choosing.

A spokesperson said: “Our support services include, support, legal accompaniment and advocacy, referral to housing and welfare services, court accompaniment and community education and awareness raising.

“To ensure continued service provision for women in our community, we are holding a this table quiz and we would love to see you there.”
