Popular Coláiste Mhuire principal leaving to take new position in St Mel's

The principal of Coláiste Mhuire in Mullingar is leaving at end of the school year to take a new position as the head teacher of St Mel's College in Longford.

Popular Mayo native Malachy Flanagan will take over from former St Loman's manager Declan Rowley at the helm in St Mel's.

Mr Flanagan has been the principal in Colaiste Mhuire for the past six years following the retirement of Joe O'Meara. Before coming to Colaiste Mhuire he previously taught in St Mel's.
