History made at Ballymore LGFA!

On 11 April, Westmeath LGFA ratified the first Ballymore Ladies Gaelic Football Club, and history was made on 17 May, when Ballymore LGFA fielded their first teams in U6 and U8 challenge matches against Ballynacargy LGFA.

There was super support from trainers, mentors and family members on the sideline. On 21 May, the girls were at Springfield, Mullingar to take part in their first blitz, three matches, against Ballynacargy, Mullingar Shamrocks and Kilbeggan.

The girls have excelled since training began and this is to their credit but also to excellent trainers, top class equipment and most of all, a fun and friendly environment to learn and play as a team.

Well done to everyone involved and we wish Ballymore LGFA the very best of luck in their upcoming games.
