€9,700 per acre for Ballynacargy land
A number of committed bidders featured in a competitive auction for property of c.42.84 acres at Moranstown, Ballynacargy last Thursday, June 16.
Conducted by Dillon Murtagh of Murtagh Bros, the auction was held online.
The farm is laid out in neat divisions, and following a lot of interest, it went on the market at €325,000.
The hammer later fell after a sale figure of €416,000 was achieved.
That is €9,700 per acre and it shows great confidence among buyers in the agricultural sector in the midlands, said Mr Murtagh.
