Public's views sought for 'Mullingar Town Centre Health Check'

Westmeath County Council has launched a survey to get an insight into the people of Mullingar's “needs and aspirations” for the town in the years ahead.

The survey results will form part of a 'Mullingar Town Centre Health Check' which is currently underway and will inform the strategic issues to be considered as part of the forthcoming Mullingar Local Area Plan review.

The council says that the consultation “will also feed into the development of a Local Area Plan which will set out an overall strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of Mullingar”.

“This will be an important policy document that has the potential to directly impact every individual and group living and working both in Mullingar and its surrounding area.”

The survey, which will take around 15-20 minutes, is available to complete until 5pm on Tuesday July 5.

The survey is available via the Westmeath County Council Portal or for completion directly here.
