New cattle drover sculpture being unveiled on Ballymore's Fair Green this Saturday

A new sculpture by renowned local artist Richie Clarke that honours the memory of generations of local cattle drovers and Ballymore's rich agricultural heritage will be unveiled on the Fair Green on Saturday afternoon.

The event, which has been organised by Ballymore Tidy Towns, will start with an introduction by Cllr Vinny McCormack, after which Seamus McDermott will explain the historical significance of the Fair Green and Peter McGrath will give a talk on the village's biodiversity plan.

The event starts at 3pm and will take place on the Fair Green.
