Annual Carmelite Golf Classic taking place in Mount Temple this week

The annual Carmelite Golf Classic will take place in Mount Temple Golf Club this Friday and Saturday, July 8 and 9.

On Friday, the event will be held from 1pm to 5pm (last tee off) and on Saturday it will get underway at 8am with the last tee off at 3pm.

Those taking part will play for the Paddy Buckley Perpetual Cup, top of the range Golf Drivers, and numerous valuable prizes.

The committee of Michael Dolan, Fr Jimmy Murray, Mairead Buckley, Benny Smyth, Tom Campion, Kenny Buckley, Fergal Murray, Billy Browne and John Buckley would welcome your support.

The competition is a Three Ball Scramble, with refreshments at the 10th tee.

The cost to enter a team is €120, while sponsorship of a Tee or Green is €100 euro.
