Car boot and bric-a-brac sale planned for Railway Market

The Railway Market Mullingar is teaming up with Mullingar Town Band on Saturday July 23 for a boot and bric a brac sale, the proceeds of which will go to the band.

The band and the market organisers are inviting anyone that has something to sell to book in for the event, which runs from 11am to 3pm.

The cost are €10 per car outdoors, €15 for a car and trailer outdoors; €20 for a van outdoors; and €20 for indoor spaces; and everyone is welcome. Contact: marketmullingar@gmail.com or phone 085 8686800.

The Railway Market would like to wish success to The Mullingar Agricultural Show on Sunday next, July 10.

The regular fortnightly market will not take place on July 9. It’s holiday time for many people and there are a lot of summer festivals and agricultural shows, and the market organisers wish all the best to Railway Market stallholders involved in those.

Enquiries are welcome from stall holders especially in the food area.

Some market dates for your diary: visit the Railway Market at the fleadh from July 31 to August 7. Saturday September 17, Railway Market (indoor) plus an outdoor car boot sale (Mullingar Town Band). Saturday October 15, Railway Market (indoor) plus outdoor car boot sale (Mullingar Town Band).

Saturday and Sunday November 26 and 27; Saturday and Sunday December 3 and 4; Saturday and Sunday December 10 and 11; Saturday and Sunday December 17 and 18; 11am-4pm each day.

Visitors can expect food, crafts, gifts, music, entertainment and lots more.

The Railway Market is now open for Christmas market bookings from stallholders.
