Local group hosts a night of Irish language hip hop in Athlone

Athlone Pop Up Gaeltacht in partnership with Dead Centre Brewery is delighted to present a night of Irish language hip hop.

On Friday, August 26, upstairs in the Dead Centre Brewery acclaimed hip hop artist Oisín Mhac brings his cutting edge Irish language hip hop to Athlone for the very first time.

Rapper, producer, radio Presenter and Irish Language activist Oisín Mhac blends cutting social commentary with classic G-Funk era beats.

This will be Oisín’s first time performing in Athlone

Opening on the night will be some local talent from the Pop Up Gaeltacht's regular seisún musicians playing some traditional sets.

It is a night not to be missed, entry is free, so be sure to get there for 8.30pm
