North Westmeath Hospice celebrates 30 years of Bewley's Coffee Mornings

The North Westmeath Hospice hosted their annual Bewley’s Coffee Morning at their office on Mary Street Mullingar on July 26.

This year marked the 30th anniversary of the big coffee morning social for the hospice.

Tina Kellegher, a well known actress and ambassador for the hospice officially launched the event.

She was joined by several committee members who were in attendance on the day to celebrate this incredible milestone.

The North Westmeath Hospice will return to the Market Square in Mullingar on September 22 and 23 to continue fundraising through a bucket collection.

They have partnered with Hot to Trot coffee who will be selling goodies over the two days in aid of the cause.

The hospice committee are encouraging local schools, businesses and the general public to get involved in fundraising for the centre.

The team can create coffee morning packages to suit you and will assist you in organising the event.

If you would like to speak to the hospice team about hosting an event like this please contact 085 786 3891.

Every euro raised locally, stays local and provides support for the vital services carried out by the palliative home care team.

The North Westmeath Hospice look forward to meeting and greeting the public in person this year and want to thank everyone for their continued support.
