Following a successful year, the Mullingar Town Band are back for the new season. The band and Colourguard resumed rehearsals last weekend and continue to welcome back their Junior members and Concert band throughout this week.

Last year the new Community Concert Band for adult players launched successfully. Musicians who had not played their instruments for 20 or 30, even 40 in some cases, years played at the Spring Concert last May with the Town Band.

The band are now enrolling new members for the year ahead. To join the adult concert band, players should aim to be approximately a grade 2 standard, but it is understood that it may take time to be comfortable playing again.
