Interested in learning bridge? Ennell Bridge Club are looking for members

The Ennell Bridge Club are based in Mullingar Bridge and Amenity Centre. They have a strong focus on novices and beginners. There is a core group of players who have been playing bridge for some time and they actively support and welcome new players.

Initially new players take a series of bridge lessons and when they feel ready to join the club, usually after about 10-12 weeks, they are gradually initiated into the club. They play with the more experienced players who strongly encourage, support and facilitate their play.

The Ennell Club plays every Monday 7.30-10.30pm (approximately).

Bridge lessons start on Thursday September 22 at 8pm and last for 10 weeks.

Remember: bridge is social; bridge is fun; bridge is for all ages; bridge stimulates the brain; bridge can improve your physical health; bridge can be a life long pursuit.

To quote some experts on the game – Omar Shariff said: Many games provide fun, but bridge grips you. It exercises your mind. Your mind can rust, you know, but bridge prevents the rust from forming’. Martina Navratilova said: "No matter where I go, I always make friends at the bridge table."

If you are interested in taking the lessons, telephone 0874160724 or 0872190054.
