Niall Horan confirmed for The Voice US

Niall Horan joins Chance the Rapper, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson on the 23rd season of The Voice US.

The announjcement was made by NBC as it emerged that Blake Skelton will depart the singing competition after the upcoming season.

The Mullingar man and former One Direction singer will join the show which sees contestants selected through auditions and trained by the four coaches who continue to mentor them throughout the duration of the competition.

It features various stages including blind auditions, battle rounds, knockout.

News of the Slow Hands singers involvement in the popular show comes ahead of the Guinness Ireland documentary which sees proud Mullingar man travel around Ireland alongside Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi to his home town.

Niall Horan’s Homecoming: The Road to Mullingar with Lewis Capaldi, is set to air on Virgin Media One this Sunday, October 16 at 10pm.
