Latest flood warning includes Westmeath

A level yellow weather warning for rainfall from Met Éireann, issued this morning, predicts that “heavy or thundery pulses of rain Sunday night and Monday” “will lead to flooding in places”.

The forecasters says the affected areas include Westmeath.

The full list of counties affected is: Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Leitrim, Laois, Limerick, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Offaly, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford, and Wicklow.

The expected onset of the rain is tomorrow Monday, November 21, at 3am.

The warning expires on Monday at 8pm.
