Planning granted for apartment block in heart of Mullingar

Westmeath County Council have given the green light for a new residential development in the centre of Mullingar.

The planning application submitted by Spoutwell Developments includes details for the construction of a three-storey, 20-unit apartment block on a site on Spoutwell Lane. The development will consist of 16 two-bedroom apartments, three one-beds and one three-bedroom unit.

The application also includes details for the demolition of the existing commercial buildings on the site. Planning permission has been granted subject to 19 conditions.
