IWA sing carols and host Christmas Sale of Work to raise funds

The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) based at the Springfield Centre in Mullingar held a carol service in Harbour Place Shopping Centre today, Thursday.

IWA service users along with TY students from Loreto College, St Finian's and St Mary CBS Mullingar, sang all the Christmas favourites, with Danny Dunne leading the chorus, all while raising funds for the vital service in the process.

Supporting the IWA carol service in Harbour Place, Mullingar, was IWA volunteer Betty Dunne, Collette Devenney, and Brenda O'Malley.

The team at the Springfield Centre are also holding a Christmas Sale of Work on Tuesday next, December 13, between 11am and 3pm.

There will be plenty of goods on offer, including arts, crafts and baked goods, all which would make a perfect Christmas present.

IWA service users Claire Gavin from Rochfortbridge and Stella Martin, Mullingar.

Entry is free, and food and drinks will also be available at the bazaar, so bring the entire family along and get in the festive spirit!
