Annual Christmas Carol Service today in the Cathedral

This is Joyful Sunday, or Gaudete Sunday, and at 5pm in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, the Annual Christmas Carol Service will take place.

It will be led by Bishop of Meath, Most Rev Dr Tom Deenihan.

"Through music, song, scripture readings, prayer and reflection, we will enter into the joy of this Advent season, as we journey towards the Nativity of Jesus Christ," stated a spokesperson for Mullingar Parish on social media.
