Dún na Sí Heritage Park to host women's festival

Dún na Sí Heritage Park in Moate will kick off 2023 by hosting a women's wellness event. Festival Mná is a celebration of the Irish tradition of 'Nollaig na mBan' or 'Women’s little Christmas.' Traditionally January 6 was the day for women to gather and enjoy their own Christmas.

Festival Mná would especially love to see three generations of women coming together for this event, so make it a family day out where precious memories are made.

The aim of the event is to encourage women everywhere to step into their true feminine power. This will be facilitated by a women’s circle on the day as they attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the biggest women’s circle in the world.

Some of the best influencers in Ireland are on board to deliver various holistic workshops on the day including yoga, breathwork, inspirational speeches, dancing, fitness classes, cacao ceremonies, card readings, reiki healings, music and more.

Kids under 12 go free and there will be a number of activities to keep them busy throughout the day. The exciting event is in support of SoSad Ireland, mental health prevention and awareness.

Festival Mná will take place on Saturday, January 7, from 10am to 4pm.

Tickets cost €40 and are available on Eventbrite. Walk-ins on the day welcomed.
