Dolan names youthful Westmeath squad for Louth clash

Dessie Dolan has named a youthful squad for his first competitive fixture as Westmeath senior football manager.

The Garrycastle man has named three players from senior county champions The Downs (Trevor Martin, Jonathan Lynam and Kevin O'Sullivan), and three from Shandonagh (Danny Scahill, Tom Molloy and Adam Treanor), in his 21-man squad to face Louth this evening (Wednesday) in the first round of the O'Byrne Cup at the Louth GAA Centre Of Excellence in Darver (throw-in 8pm).

Other notable inclusions in the squad are Boidu Sayeh, who has returned to the inter-county fold after taking a break, and Caulry's highly rated youngster Senan Baker.
