New chair elected at Mullingar Show AGM

Christopher Dolan was elected as chairperson of the Mullingar Show Committee, at their AGM, which was held on Monday January 10 in the Annebrook House Hotel.

Christopher, from Portloman, has previously acted as chair and vice-chair of the group, and his father Joe Dolan, is president of the Westmeath Show Society.

The election of the rest of the officers will take place at the February meeting.

“We had a very good year coming back after the Covid years – we had great crowds and we’re very thankful for all our supporters,” Paddy Donnelly told the Westmeath Examiner. “We are very grateful for all our exhibitors, supporters, and of course our sponsors, who all came back on board with us again.”
