Decent dry periods and sunny spells today

Today will be mostly cloudy with decent dry periods and scattered showers. Some sunny intervals also. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with mostly fresh, westerly breezes.

Tonight will be mainly dry with a fair amount of cloud and some clear spells. Light rain or drizzle will develop in north Ulster later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees with fresh westerly breezes gradually decreasing light to moderate southwesterly.

Sunday will be mild and mainly dry with a fair amount of cloud and some sunny intervals, the best of these in Munster and south Leinster. Some patchy drizzle also, mainly in western coastal counties. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with moderate to fresh west to southwest winds.

Sunday night will be mild and mostly cloudy with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle, mainly in the west and over the northern half of the country. Patches of mist and fog also, mainly on coasts and hills. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with moderate to fresh southwest winds.

Mild and mostly cloudy on Monday and Tuesday with some patchy rain. Becoming colder from Wednesday onwards with scattered showers.
