Concert for Ukraine in Kinnegad

The Kinnegad Welcome Parish Group and the Association of Ukrainians in Ireland (AURI) are hosting an evening of Irish and Ukrainian traditional music, poetry and singing this weekend.

It is a free event to mark one year of war in Ukraine and “to stand united with our friends in the hope of peace”, said one of the organisers.

The concert is on Sunday, February 26, at 7pm in the Church of the Assumption, Kinnegad.

The audience will be entertained by a talented group of musicians, singers and narrators.

Tickets are free and are available from Kinnegad Parish Office, Granuaile Restaurant and Deli, Kinnegad and Haven Pharmacy, Gildea’s.

The organisers have thanked Harry’s Hotel, Kinnegad for sponsoring this event.
