Karate students enjoy Mullingar training camp

Mullingar students were among the Kyokushinkai Karate pupils and coaches who travelled from all over Ireland recently to partake in a Squad Training Session at Mullingar Dojo (Parish Centre) in preparation for forthcoming tournaments overseas.

These squad sessions encourage students to show up and mix with students from other clubs, gauge their standard and learn new skills and drills to take back to their individual Dojos. The Mullingar Dojo train twice weekly (Tues/Sat) and new beginners are always welcome male/female ages 6yrs – adult. Karate helps with self-confidence, general health and fitness and one learns self-protection skills. The Mullingar Dojo was established in 2001.
