The Westmeath Branch of Diabetes Ireland hosted an information evening on Tuesday of last week, February 28, in the Annebrook House Hotel.
A number of medical professionals attended to give tips and advice and there were representatives from Node Pharma, and local pharmacies Woods CarePlus and Whelehans supported the event with their health promotion information.
Speakers included Professor Shu Hoashi and Professor Michael O’Grady.
It was a great success, and the local branch and committee would be grateful if new members contact Diabetes Ireland at westmeathdiabetes@gmail.com for information.
