Tyrrellspass day to start with fun run and walk

The Tyrrellspass Celebration of St Patrick’s Day 2023 will start with a 5k fun run and walk in the early afternoon of Friday March 17 and continue with entertainment on the Village Green.

The 5k starts at 12.30pm and the rest of the fun an hour later, when entertainers will include Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, Chris Loughrey, the Rahugh Buskers, The Emerald Lakes Academy of Irish Dance, the Celtic Blondes, Fr Ray Kelly and more (details are being finalised).

The organising committee promise plenty of activities to suit all ages, and invite adults as well as children to wear fancy dress. They have prizes for the best and most original costumes.
