Tyrrellspass GAA host Variety Concert for St Patrick's Day

A host of local talent took to the stage and delighted the audience at the Tyrrellspass GAA Club variety concert on Thursday March 16 last. There was a full house in the Pavilion, and the club would like to thank all the acts who took to the stage, the support crew who worked tirelessly throughout the last few weeks to ensure all was in order, the local support of all who came to the event, sponsored a prize or donated.

Willie Penrose, vice-chairman of Fleadh Executive Committee, addressed the audience, thanking Tyrrellspass for supporting them and supplying volunteers.

The event was a fundraiser and a great community event. Photos attached.

A club spokesperson added: “We would like to congratulate the St Patrick’s Day Committee, who held a successful event in the Pavilion on Friday.”

The Tyrrellspass GAA Ladies underage club are holding a car wash on 25 March at Centra Kilbeggan, and would appreciate your support.

Tyrrellspass GAA LGFA are holding a fashion show in The Barn, Tyrrellspass on April 1. Tickets are €15 and available from Bernie 087 280 3293.

The club would like to thank Mark Wright of Total Health Pharmacy, who has again agreed to sponsor them. “We are grateful for all Mark’s support over the last number of years.”
