Local SMEs encouraged to register for new Enterprise Ireland webinar series

Westmeath SMEs have been encouraged to register for a series of webinars focusing on competitiveness launched by Enterprise Ireland.

Running from now until October, the webinars will cover a range of issues critical to competitiveness – including supply chain management, raising finance and digital adoption. There are also three in person workshops focused on attracting and retaining talent over the course of the year.

Enterprise Ireland CEO, Leo Clancy, says that "competitiveness is a live issue for every business in Ireland".

"Ensuring your product or service has that critical edge over competitors and that your cost base is controlled is vital to business success. In our recent client survey businesses told Enterprise Ireland that they want practical, expert advice on key business issues and this series of webinars is just one of the actions were taking to address that demand.”

The first webinars in the 12-part series are: 'Building a resilient and sustainable supply chain' on March 28 at 10am; and 'Growth pathways for scale up companies' on March 30 at 10am.

In addition, the first of three in person full day workshops on attracting and retaining talent will take place on March 30 in Dublin.

Full details of the webinar series and the workshops are available here.

Conor O’Donovan, Head of Global Communications, Strategic Marketing and Events with Enterprise Ireland, said: “We continually listen to companies about the challenges they face and that feedback has fed into the design of this webinar series. “We want to offer practical advice and solutions on critical business issues that will help Irish companies maintain their competitive advantage in global markets. The webinar series delivered by our new Client Solutions Hub is open to all companies, not just those supported by Enterprise Ireland.”
