Mullingar aims to impress Purple Flag assessors tomorrow

Mullingar will put its best nighttime face on tomorrow evening when the Purple Flag assessors are in town, and everyone is being encouraged to get involved.

Mullingar Chamber are coordinating the event, and there will be a presentation in The Greville Arms Hotel at 6pm tomorrow, Friday March 31, followed by a tour of the town for the inspectors.

A spokesperson for Mullingar Chamber has asked local people to get behind their efforts in renewing the Purple Flag for 2023.

"Join Mullingar Chamber and the Purple Flag assessor team to showcase Mullingar's evening and night-time economy. Tea, coffee and cakes on arrival; Daniel Boyne is the MC and there will be music by Joe Connaire."
