When Frank met Matt

Boston based Tyrrellspass native Frank Gillespie has rubbed shoulders with many famous faces over the years.

The well-known publican was an unofficial member of Jack Charlton’s inner circle for much of his tenure as manager of Ireland and is the son-in-law of the late comedian Brendan Grace.

He recently added another well known figure to the collection of superstars that he has encounter over the years when he met Oscar winner Matt Damon.

The Goodwill Hunting star was back in his home town of Boston shooting his latest film, The Instigators.
