Traffic and parking surveys underway in Mullingar

Traffic and parking surveys are currently being carried out in Mullingar.

Westmeath County Council has commissioned IDASO Ltd to carry out the surveys at various locations, in and around Mullingar, for two weeks starting last Monday, May 8.

Automatic traffic counters and cameras will be installed at various locations to record pedestrian and vehicle traffic count data.

The results of traffic data collected during these surveys will be used to inform the Mullingar Area Based Transport Assessment (ABTA) currently being developed. The surveys are fully GDPR compliant and solely for the purpose of supplying statistical data.
