Champions of Champions darts event tonight

Tonight, Friday May 12, a great night of darts is in store at McHugh's, Raharney, when the two winners and two runners-up of the Westmeath leagues meet, in what is being billed as a 'champion of champions' event.

It's the first such match to take place and a chance for players in both leagues to unite for a one-off event, which will strengthen relations for the county going forward. The winners of the Westmeath Darts League, Mullingar Shamrocks will meet Doyne's of Glenidan, who were runner-up in the North Westmeath Darts League. And the Bawn Inn, winners of the North Westmeath Darts League, will take on Clarke's 'A', Mullingar, runners-up in last Friday's Westmeath League.

It will be played to a finish on the night and promises to be a great show of darts as the best players in both leagues meet on the oche.
