Surprise guests, trad supergroup and Toy Show reunion set for Ryan's finalé

In the last show ever to be presented by Ryan Tubridy, the season finale of The Late Late Show promises to be jam packed with surprises galore, both for the TV host and the audience watching at home.

President Michel D Higgins will share his thoughts on where the nation is at, from Áras an Uachtarain, for his and Ryan's final Late Late interview together

Promised also, is a 'Late Late Toy Show Reunion', where some of the shows favourite kids will bid farewell the host.

There will be a trad supergroup gathering to bid farewell to Ryan, including Andrea Corr, John Sheahan (The Dubliners), Moya Brennan (Clannad), Steve Wickham (The Waterboys), Sharon Shannon, Andrew Hendy (The Mary Wallopers), Jim Lockhart (Horslips), Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh (Altan), Colm Mac Con Iomaire (The Frames), Niamh Dunne (Beoga), Jim Higgins (The Stunning), Mike Hanrahan (Stockton’s Wing), Ciarán Owens (The Tumbling Paddies), Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh (Aeons), Frankie Gavin (De Dannan), Maureen Codd (Cuckoos Nest), Shayan & Shahab Coohe (Nava), Debbie Byrne and Tara Howley.

Meanwhile, one of Ireland’s latest breakthrough singer-songwriters Cian Ducrot, will make a very special performance to mark the occasion.

More familiar faces dropping by to surprise Tubridy on the night.
