Tyrrellspass Home and Business Energy event

Tyrrellspass Sustainable Energy Community, in collaboration with Tyrrellspass Tidy Towns, is launching with its first event, Home and Business Energy Improvement, on Friday June 9, between 4pm and 8pm, in GAA Pavilion Tyrrellspass.

Admission is free, drop by any time.

The event is aimed at community groups, schools, businesses and home owners, both within and outside the Tyrrellspass area.

Celtic Dynamics, Energy Consultant, will present options and grants available to businesses at 4.30pm and again at 6pm, and they will be on hand throughout the event to discuss needs and solutions.

Isabella Donnelly (ORS), SEAI Mentor for the Midlands, will be available to explain what a Sustainable Energy Community is, what steps we are taking to complete an Energy Master Plan and select Community Projects for our local area; and she will also be delighted to talk about grants and opportunities for energy improvement.

A commercial and agricultural Solar PV supplier will be on site, as well as suppliers of domestic solar PV, insulation, and a windows and doors specialist.

Home owners within the catchment area can enter the draw for a free Home Energy Assessment!
