St Colman's NS 5k hits the road again

The members of the parents association at St Colman’s NS in Mullingar “were absolutely delighted to welcome all the boys and girls of St Colman’s NS, along with their families, for what was a fantastic day” – their 5k, on Sunday.

Speaking on behalf of the group, chairperson Dearbhla O’Sullivan said: “This was the first time this race was held since 2019 and we are so glad that everybody enjoyed themselves.

“A huge thank you to all the staff of St Colman’s, and especially the members of the parents association who, along with principal Ger Beehan and deputy principal Amy Hamill, did Trojan work in getting everything organised for today.

“The boys and girls and their parents stepped up to provide us with delicious baked goodies, which tasted all the better after a run in the sunshine.

“Huge congratulations to our race winners and runners-up in each category, from U8 right up. It was a fantastic family day and really showcased the wonderful school spirit at St Colman’s NS.”
