Cúige Studios is hosting a special Summer Solstice Coterie tomorrow (Wednesday) evening to mark the longest day of the year.

The first part of the event takes place at the Loughcrew Cairns just outside Oldcastle. Starting at 6.30pm, attendees will go for a walk and chat together.

The second part of the evening will take place at the Water Street Association's base in Castlepollard. The association are hosting this month's Coterie. Cúige's founders Andrea Cullen and Rachel Coyne say that they are delighted to be joining forces with the Water Street Association to celebrate the Summer Solstice.

“They have a few surprises in store for entertainment and refreshments and everyone is welcome.

If you would like to share a poem, short story, song or piece of music please bring something along with you.”
