Local lawyer wins twice at national awards
Elaine Byrne took home two prizes from this year’s Irish Law Awards on June 9 in the Clayton Hotel, Dublin.
Elaine (née Murtagh), who is daughter of William and Mary Murtagh, won the ‘Leinster Winner Excellence and Innovation in Client Services’ and ‘overall / national Winner Sole Practitioner of the Year’.
Elaine set up her own practice, Elaine Byrne Solicitors, in February 2022, specialising in probate, wills and conveyancing. The firm is based in Athboy, and Elaine also works at her home outside Collinstown.
The awards recognise Elaine’s legal expertise and contribution; and the annual event, hosted by Ivan Yates this year, is designed to recognise excellence in the legal profession of Ireland, commending the achievements of lawyers.
