July start date for Ballyglass columbarium

The new columbarium wall at Ballyglass cemetery, to be used as a resting place for human ashes, is to be erected in early July of this year.

Cllr Bill Collentine was informed of this at the June meeting of the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad.

"I’m delighted with this: people have been looking for it for a long time," Cllr Collentine stated, saying that it would provide families with a permanent place to store the ashes of their loved ones.
