Scoil Phádraig Naofa, Dysart celebrated their annual sports day on Thursday 15 June. The children had a fantastic day in the sunshine, as they did the traditional events including three-legged race, egg and spoon race and the sack race.
They had a bouncy castle obstacle course from ABC Bouncy Castles, and sixth class made an obstacle course for the children to do. After lunch the parents joined the staff and pupils for parent and children races, which everyone enjoyed.
In the afternoon, they marked the end of their Creative Schools Cookery Project with Multyfarnham Cookery School, with a celebratory lunch from Supermac’s. The children loved that. Sports day is one of their favourite days of the year.
