A video showcasing the work of Irish Aid created by pupils in fourth to sixth classes at St Thomas’s National School, Rathowen, has won this year’s Performance Award at the recent Our World Irish Aid Awards.

The announcement was made at an event at O’Reilly Hall, UCD, where pupils and teachers from 13 schools across the country gathered to celebrate their collective success at a ceremony hosted by Clara Murray.

The project from St Thomas’s NS, along with those created by the 12 other finalists, feature on bus shelters across the country, as well as in a special online exhibition on the Our World Irish Aid Awards website at ourworldirishaidawards.ie, and in the 2023 Global Goal Getters annual digital magazine also available online.
